Roman Bilinski proofed potential in Hungary
Stellar performances and lessons about setbacks: The third round of Formula Regional at the Hungaroring in Hungary had it all. Throughout the entire weekend, Roman demonstrated strong pace and put in a particularly great performance on Sunday, where he narrowly missed out on pole position by just one tenth of a second.
After getting in the first laps in the practice sessions, the weekend kicked off with Top Ten finishes in both qualifying sessions for the Trident driver, as he secured a P6 in Qualifying 1 and topped Saturday off with an amazing P4 in Qualifying 2.
Close to Pole on Sunday
Sunday presented its own set of challenges for Roman. Despite facing fierce competition in the first race, he battled his way through the field and crossed the finish line in P12. Serving as a valuable learning experience, Roman was able to refine his approach for the second race, where he was poised to finish in a deserved Top 10 position and crossed the finish line in 6th place.
“Hungary was a weekend of learning. We have made big steps forward which should help us a lot going into the second half of the season now. Overall, I maximized my qualifying and race performances with my driving, and I can be proud of that.”
