Technical issues hamper performance
With the last round of the Formula Regional before the summer break, Roman tackled a tough weekend at Le Castellet.
Pace and strategy came together perfectly in the Qualifying sessions, with Roman securing P9 for both Sunday races and giving him a promising start to the weekend. However, technical issues hampered his performance and saw him finish in P20 in Race 1 – a frustrating turnout for both him and his team, who’ve been working tirelessly to turn the strong Qualifying pace into successful race results.
Full potential yet to be uncovered
Roman pulled through and capped the weekend off with a P16 in the second race, finishing the first half of the season not quite where he wanted to be, but with lots of potential nonetheless.
“Paul Ricard was a tough weekend for us, unfortunately we had technical issues the whole weekend, so we couldn’t show our full potential. But the team is working hard, so after the summer break, we will up our performance.”

Looking back on a challenging first half
He also acknowledged the hurdles he and his team faced throughout the season, saying, “It’s been a difficult first half of the season, I think me and the team had higher expectations than what we’re achieving. Unfortunately, we had a lot of problems that were out of our hands, but we still have half a season left, and I have a great team behind me. I know I’m gonna be doing everything I can, and I know they’ll do the same, so hopefully we can maximise the last four rounds and end the season strong, because that’s really what we need.”
As the Formula Regional paddock takes a well-deserved break for the summer, Roman and the team are focused on regrouping and strategizing for the upcoming challenges. With his determination and the support of both his team and his fans, Roman’s potential will undoubtedly translate into great results on the track.
